Here’s an interesting webinar entitled “Tribalization of Business,” put on by Deloitte, Beeline and sncr.org. Tribes are all the rage these days, with lots of reason. It’s a great way to think about groups and group dynamics and uses key information from Tipping Point to help companies begin to think about positive change in their company culture.
The final take-aways include cautionary tips to the CMO who would become Chief Communities Officer, such as avoid the trap of focusing on technology first, don’t under-resource the project and/or fail to plan scale into the road map.
Content is still King, leading to more members, more content, more member info, and ultimately better insights to guide the company.
The speaker from Beeline had some very interesting perspectives on human resource management and cultivation, with a good example from eBay.
