According to this story in the Financial Times, venture capital is pouring into web 2.0 technologies–more invested in a three month period than any quarter since 2001. Google’s purchase of YouTube last year has brought a lot of attention to the browser based movement.
The great news is that if this trend continues, we should see some really strong enterprise 2.0 products hit the market in the next few years–maybe even that anticipated mashup that will render all the misfit knowledge and content management systems useful under one umbrella. You never know.
